1. About Our Services

This Iteration LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers one-on-one career coaching, including but not limited to resume reviews, mock interviews, full career prep packages, workplace coaching sessions, LinkedIn profile audits, cover letter writing, and job search strategy sessions.

Our services are intended for personal, non-commercial use. They are not a substitute for licensed mental health treatment, legal advice, or financial guidance. All information on our website is for general informational purposes and may not apply to your specific situation.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such changes.

2. Your Responsibilities

By using our services, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 18 years of age.
All information you provide to us is truthful, accurate, and current.
You will not use our services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
You will engage respectfully and in good faith throughout our work together.
You understand that coaching is not therapy and does not replace professional mental health care.

If you provide false or misleading information, we reserve the right to terminate our services immediately without refund.

3. Payments & Fees

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. By providing your payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that the information is accurate.

We reserve the right to update our pricing at any time. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect services already purchased.

You agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting us to attempt to resolve the issue.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with your purchase. If you have a billing dispute, please contact us within 60 days of the charge at info@thisiteration.net.

4. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise communicated at the time of purchase, all payments are non-refundable. Once you have purchased a service, you may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours notice of your scheduled session, but fees already paid will not be returned.

We understand that circumstances change. At our sole discretion, we may choose to offer a refund, credit, or other accommodation in certain situations. However, any such decision is made on a case-by-case basis and does not create an obligation to offer the same in future situations.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and within our services — including written materials, worksheets, frameworks, session content, graphics, and branding — is owned by or licensed to This Iteration LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and use our content for your own individual career development purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

Any ideas, feedback, or suggestions you submit to us may be used by This Iteration LLC for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS ITERATION LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM TECHNICAL ISSUES. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON OUR COACHING OR THE CONTENT ON OUR WEBSITE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS ITERATION LLC AND ITS OWNERS, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER TANGIBLE OR INTANGIBLE LOSSES — EVEN IF THIS ITERATION LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE. THIS APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY UNDER WHICH DAMAGES ARE SOUGHT, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER BASIS.

THIS LIMITATION COVERS ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO: (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, OUR SERVICES; (II) ANY RELIANCE PLACED ON CONTENT, ADVICE, OR MATERIALS PROVIDED THROUGH OUR SERVICES; (III) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO, LOSS OF, OR MODIFICATION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA OR COMMUNICATIONS; (IV) THE ACTIONS, STATEMENTS, OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY — INCLUDING EMPLOYERS, RECRUITERS, OR OTHER CLIENTS; OR (V) ANY OTHER MATTER ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS ITERATION LLC’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS COMBINED EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO THIS ITERATION LLC DURING THE SIX (6) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

CERTAIN JURISDICTIONS DO NOT PERMIT THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, AND THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN FULL. IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH OUR SERVICES OR THESE TERMS FOR ANY REASON, YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS TO STOP USING OUR SERVICES AND DISCONTINUE YOUR ENGAGEMENT WITH US.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless This Iteration LLC and its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (1) your use of our services; (2) your violation of these Terms; (3) your violation of any third-party rights; or (4) any false or misleading information you provided to us.

We reserve the right to assume control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense.

12. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us at info@thisiteration.net with a brief written description of the issue and your contact information before taking any formal action. We commit to engaging in good faith negotiations to reach a resolution, and this good faith effort is a required first step before either party may initiate arbitration or legal proceedings.

Scope

This section is intended to apply broadly. It governs all disputes, claims, and controversies between you and This Iteration LLC arising out of or relating to these Terms, our services, or any aspect of our relationship — whether grounded in contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other legal theory. You and This Iteration LLC agree that the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of these arbitration provisions, as these Terms affect interstate commerce.

Binding Arbitration

Any dispute not resolved through the informal process above shall be submitted to binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, conducted in Los Angeles, California. The arbitrator — not any federal, state, or local court — shall have exclusive authority to resolve all disputes relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of these Terms, including any claim that all or part of these Terms are void or voidable, or whether a dispute is subject to arbitration at all. The arbitrator may grant any relief that would be available in a court of law or equity. The arbitrator’s written decision shall be final, binding on both parties, and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

No Class Actions

All arbitration proceedings shall be conducted solely on an individual basis. You and This Iteration LLC each waive the right to bring or participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding. IF A COURT OR ARBITRATOR DETERMINES THAT THIS CLASS ACTION WAIVER IS VOID OR UNENFORCEABLE FOR ANY REASON, OR THAT ARBITRATION MAY PROCEED ON A CLASS BASIS, THEN THE ARBITRATION PROVISIONS IN THIS SECTION SHALL BE DEEMED NULL AND VOID IN THEIR ENTIRETY, AND THE PARTIES SHALL BE DEEMED NOT TO HAVE AGREED TO ARBITRATE.

Exceptions

The following matters are not subject to arbitration and may be brought in state or federal court with appropriate jurisdiction: (a) claims to enforce or protect intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets; (b) claims related to theft, piracy, or unauthorized use; and (c) claims within the scope of small claims court jurisdiction, provided no equitable relief is sought.

Changes to This Section

If This Iteration LLC modifies this arbitration section after the date you first accepted these Terms, you may reject the change by sending written notice to info@thisiteration.net within 30 days of the effective date of the modification. Rejection of a change means you will arbitrate under the version of this section in effect at the time you first accepted these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. For any matters not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Time Limit on Claims

Any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services must be brought within one (1) year of the date the claim arose, or it will be permanently barred.

Sole Remedy

YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THE DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCESS DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION CONSTITUTES YOUR SOLE REMEDY IN THE EVENT OF ANY DISPUTE WITH THIS ITERATION LLC, AND THAT YOU ARE WAIVING YOUR RIGHT TO INITIATE OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING INVOLVING OTHER PERSONS.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. If we terminate services due to your breach, no refund will be issued.

You may also choose to stop using our services at any time. Termination does not relieve you of any payment obligations already incurred.

14. General Provisions

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, represent the entire agreement between you and This Iteration LLC regarding your use of our services.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.

We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time without notice. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment relationship, joint venture, or agency between you and This Iteration LLC.

These Terms are intended to be read and enforced to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law.

15. No Guarantees

We are genuinely invested in your professional growth and will provide our services with care, expertise, and integrity. At the same time, it’s important to be transparent about the nature of career coaching: your results ultimately depend on a range of factors beyond our control.

By purchasing or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Your Responsibility
You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results. Career coaching is a collaborative process, and its effectiveness depends significantly on your level of engagement, effort, and follow-through.

No Guaranteed Outcomes
We do not make any representations, warranties, or guarantees — express or implied — regarding specific results. This includes, but is not limited to, job offers, interview invitations, salary increases, or career advancement. Outcomes will vary based on individual circumstances, experience, effort, and market conditions.

Third-Party Decisions
We do not control the decisions of employers, recruiters, or other third parties. Hiring processes, compensation decisions, and organizational needs are determined solely by those third parties and are outside the scope of our services.

Testimonials & Examples
Any testimonials or examples shared on our website or in our materials are illustrative of individual experiences. They are not guarantees or promises that you will achieve the same or similar results.

Scope of Services
Our obligation is fulfilled upon delivery of the agreed-upon coaching sessions and/or professional materials (such as resumes, cover letters, or other documents). Our fees reflect the time, expertise, and support provided — not the achievement of any specific external outcome.

We are committed to delivering our services with professionalism and care. But we cannot guarantee that you will achieve any particular goal as a result of working with us.
